I think there will always be disappointment in life. We are broken people living in a broken world. It would be foolish for any of us to think that we can shield oursleves from dissapointment. However there is a hope. Our hope is that our dissapointment is not for nothing. Our hope is that our dissapointment is building our character as it says in James 1:3-4 NIV: because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. I have faced many disspaoitnments in my life; some more painful than others. But in each dissapointment I can see God talking to me and guiding me towards Him. God wants us to accept Him and make Him the center of our lives so we will lack nothing because He is everything we need.
